Theme Access token

Activates direct-to-theme publishing for this store.

Direct publish is a newer Shopify capability that requires one extra activation step. Install the official Theme Access app from Shopify, generate a token for your active theme, and paste it here. Until this is in place, you can still download the ZIP from the builder and upload it manually.

How to get a Theme Access token (2 minutes)
  1. 1Open the Theme Access app in the Shopify App Store and click Add app.
  2. 2Approve the install on your store. The app is free and Shopify-official.
  3. 3Inside the app, click Create password and select your active theme. Shopify will generate a token that starts with shptka_.
  4. 4Copy the token and paste it into the field below.
